Spicy Cottage Cheese Sourdough Bread (Pantry Members)

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour dough starter
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup cooked sweet brown rice
  • 3 T. Chef Brad’s pizza seasoning
  • 3 T. olive oil
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 6 to 10 cups of Natural white flour
  • 1/4 cup instant yeast
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in Bosch mixer bowl adding 6 cups of flour and placing yeast on top of flour. Continue adding flour until dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Mix for 6 minutes and remove from bowl and divide into equal balls. Roll out and let rise if meaking foccacia bread or top with pizza topping if making pizza and bake in a 500 degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. If making bread, prick with a fork to keep it from forming big air pockets. Brush with oil and sprinkle with Kosher salt.
  3. Suggested topping: Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, cheese, and fresh basil.
