Basic Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 12 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1½ cups shortening
- 2 tablespoons baking soda, added to sour milk
- 3 cups sour milk or buttermilk
- 6 cups sugar
- 2¼ teaspoon salt
- 10 cups Chef Brad’s Wonder Flour or Chef Brad’s Gluten Free WonderFlour
- ½ cup flax meal
- 3 cups nuts, chopped
Instructions
- Cream together bananas, shortening, sour milk (with soda) and sugar. Add flour, salt, flax meal, and nuts. Bake in greased pans 1 hour at 350 degrees.
