Popcorn is a comfort food in my house. I love the whirly pop or stainless steel popcorn popper. It is amazing and easy.

Corn: Flavored Popcorn

Ingredients
  • Sweet:
  • ¼ cup xagave or sugar
  • 1 T. cinnamon
  • Savory:
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 1 T. salt
Instructions
  1. Sweet:
  2. In a whirly pop heat on stove over med/high heat. Add the ingredients with ½ cup of popcorn kernels. Place lid on and shake or turn handle and begin to pop the kernels. You can add more sugar on top if you want it to be sweeter.
  3. Savory:
  4. In a a whirly pop heat on stove over med/high heat. Add the oil with ½ cup of popcorn kernels. Place lid on and shake or turn handle and begin to pop the kernels. When finished popping sprinkle with the salt.
  5. Directions:
  6. A stove top popcorn popper is a must. Make sure to get the stainless one and not the cheaper version. I went through many of the cheap ones and have since I bought the stainless version I have not had to replace it. And it does get a work out.
