This is a wonderful artisan bread with the wonderful black quinoa that gives the bread a lovely texture and look.
Sour Dough Black Quinoa Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup sour dough starter
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup whole cooked black quinoa (can be red or white quinoa also)
- 3 to 5 cups natural white flour
- 3 tablespoons yeast
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in WonderMix bowl, adding only half the flour and placing the yeast on top of the flour.
- Turn on mixer and mix adding more flour until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Mix for 6 minutes.
- Remove and form dough into 2 long French style loaves.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven until internal temperature reaches 210 degrees.
