My introduction to cooking came out of survival

One day my mom gave me some random ingredients and told me to do something with it. Shortly after, she left for work. Not an ideal situation for a child but it forced me to think outside the box.

Thinking outside the box has been a recurring theme throughout my career and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Through plenty of trial and error, I came to be a decent cook and eventually a passionate, experimental chef.

For the past 20 years, I’ve been helping people expand their knowledge of food and their palate. Introducing flavours from all over the world. Helping my students become more confident in the kitchen and fall in love with the process
But more importantly, my work has brought people together. In my classes, you are encouraged to step out of your comfort zone and talk with those around you. It’s not unheard of to hear of new friendships that have emerged from one of these classes and it brings me so much joy.
I go deep into what makes a great recipe, why food is so powerful, how you can start to think differently about your kitchen, and so much more.

My food is an experience that people need to have.

I invite you to experience this for yourself and if you want, bring a loved one to join you as well.
