Sliders are great, just a fancy name for burgers, and are smaller, and add an exciting twist for dinner. “Let’s eat Sliders”, sounds better to me.

Millet Turkey Sliders

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • ½ cup black beans, cooked
  • 2 cups Millet, cooked
  • 3 eggs
  • 2-3 T. Nothwoods Fire Seasoning (find at Penzeys Spices)
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, plain or Italian
  • ¼ cup chives, chopped
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped
  • Buns, slider rolls or small dinner rolls
  • 1 head green leaf lettuce
  • Spicy Mayo Spread:
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 t. Northwoods Fire Seasoning
Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine all of the ingredients and thoroughly combine using hands.
  2. Form into 2 oz. patties.
  3. Cook on a preheated oiled grill or grill pan for about 4-5 minutes. Patties should be fully cooked with no pink in the middle.
  4. When patties come off the grill, place the buns, lightly buttered, on the grill to toast.
  5. Spread a layer of the spicy mayo spread on bun, top with turkey patty and lettuce leaf.
  6. Enjoy!
