Buttermilk Pastry Dough

Ingredients
  • 3 cups fresh ground spelt flour, ground on the pastry setting on your WonderMill
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cubes or sticks frozen butter
  • ½ to ⅔ cups buttermilk
Instructions
  1. In your Wondermix grater attachment with a chilled bowl, grate butter with cheese grater blade.
  2. In Wondermix, place flour, salt, and sugar. Mix well, with cookie whips. Add grated butter and mix lightly. Add buttermilk until dough forms. Remove from bowl and divide into two pieces. This can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
  3. Roll out and enjoy.
