This recipe is so fallish. I love the butternut squash, it adds so much texture and flavor.
Cranberry Butternut Squash Apple Crisp

Ingredients
- For the filling:
- 3 cups cubed butternut squash, (you can find it already cubed this time of the year)
- 4 peeled, seeded, and sliced apples
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar or xagave
- ⅓ cup Wonderflour or white flour
- For the Crisp:
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- ½ cup coconut
- ½ cup WonderFlourâ„¢
- ½ cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon cinammon
Instructions
- Steam butternut squash until almost tender.
- In large sauce pan add butter, sugar, apples, squash, and cranberries.
- Cook until apples are almost tender.
- Add flour and mix to thicken.
- Pour in large oven proof casarole and top with topping.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven until golden brown.
- About 15 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
